After MinisForum we stay in the world of mini PCs with, this time, MSI. Indeed, the Taiwanese company announces its new Cubi 5 series. On the program, three configurations that fit in a volume of only 0.66l!

With its mini PCs, MSI offers three configurations based on Core i from Intel. The machines will be equipped with either a Core i7 1255U, a Core i5 1235U or a Core i3 1215U. Of course, the most powerful of the three will be the Core i7-based machine, although the CPU shares the same configuration as the i5. In fact, these two processors both have a total of 10 cores: 2x P-Core and 8x E-Core. However, what will distinguish them is the frequency: 4.7 GHz in boost for the i7 against 4.4 GHz for the i5. For its part, the i3 is much more modest with 6 cores (2x P-Core + 4x E-Core) running at 4.4 GHz in boost.
Of course, in graphic part, we will be satisfied with the iGPU of the processor. In the case of i7 and i5 configurations, we have the right to an Iris Xe against an Intel UHD Graphics chip with the i3.
Regarding the memory, we will find two SO-DIMM slots in DDR4. We can install up to 64 GB of RAM clocked at 3200 MT/s. And the storage part highlights a PCIe/SATA M.2 slot as well as a second 2.5″ slot for hard disk or SSD.
Finally, we have a functional connectivity with a total of four USB-A 3.2 Gen2. For the network, two Ethernet are present while the video part has an HDMI (2.0b) and a DisplayPort (1.4). Finally, a Thunderbolt(USB-C) and a headphone/mic jack complete the package.
All this fits in a machine measuring 124 (W) x 124 (D) x 53.7 (H) mm (0.66l) and weighing only 0.55 kg.
For the price, it is difficult to say how much these machines will be charged. For now, we only know that the i5 version can be found on Amazon at a price of 864,99 €.
