As expected, the new versions of the Oculus VR headsets (now called META) are starting to be made official. The Meta Quest Pro is the first in the series, but we already know from previous leaks that this version is aimed at professional use. The launch price on the US market is $1,499. The conversion to euros is obviously more painful as always, as the price here is €1,799 . They are now available in the official Meta store with a delivery date of October 25. 
Meta Quest Pro: VR and AR combined for the pros
Several technical improvements are announced allowing an important jump in terms of rendering. To do this, the Meta Quest Pro has a resolution of 1920 x 1800 pixels per eye, as well as 75% more contrast and 10% more pixels per degree of vision (compared to the Quest 2). In addition, this version also benefits from 10 advanced virtual and mixed reality sensors, spatial sound, 256 GB of storage, 12 GB of RAM and a Snapdragon XR2+ processor 50% more powerful than its predecessor. As for the Meta Quest Touch Pro controllers, they also benefit from a technical upgrade. These include three cameras and a Snapdragon 662 mobile processor per controller for 360-degree movement and precision. On the downside, with their power supplied by a pair of AA batteries, they only promise 1-2 hours of battery life compared to the 2-3 hours of the Quest 2.
