Corsair offers a new keyboard: the K70 Core SE. In layman’s terms, it’s a white version of the original. As a reminder, we tested this black version at this address.

K70 Core SE: the keyboard goes white!

Corsair K70 Core SE

Corsair continues to offer a keyboard in 100% format. It also features all keys, arrow keys, numeric keypad and navigation keys.

The choice of switches is based on in-house models offering linear typing. However, they feature pre-lubrication as standard, improving both sound and glide. Key features include a 1.9mm accent point, 4mm total travel and 45g activation force.

The base of the keyboard is also the subject of “in-depth” work by the American brand. The base features two layers of insulating foam, while 85% of the base is made from recycled plastic. Finally, there’s an aluminum cover plate!

Here, the SE version is available in white/silver/yellow, with the color of the buttplate, keyset and some keys. Three limited-edition keycaps and matching mouse pads are also available:

  • Cherry Blossom: a white version with sakura flowers
  • Steel Azure: a black version with a blue heated steel effect keyset
  • Steel Crimson: the same, but in red!

In terms of price, the SE version is priced at $109.99, i.e. $10 more than the base model. As for the three limited series, no idea yet.
