Intel talks about overclocking on its Arc A750 and A770 GPUs

For once, a graphics card manufacturer is talking about overclocking and the advantages it will bring. This is of course Intel, which already with its processors, does not hesitate to highlight the overclocking potential of its CPUs. Here, Intel tells us about the overclocking of two models of its future generation of GPUs: the Intel Arc A750 and A770. NHU9B also told you about the cooling system of the Arc A770 Limited Edition this morning.

Intel recalls the operation of a GPU with a frequency and a variable voltage depending on the use but also the temperature of the GPU. We can discover the software that will allow overclocking and more specifically the “performance” tab. Intel also recalls the principle of the lottery and each GPU will behave differently. A good cooling system is also essential in order to offer the best overclocking potential.

The video proposed by Intel allows to better understand the operation and the principle of overclocking. By increasing the power limit to 228W, optimizing the voltage and frequency curve, the graphics card was able to reach a frequency of 2719 MHz in Hitman 3. Of course, these changes have an impact on the power consumption but also on the temperature of the graphics card. Here, the GPU reaches 81°C and the memory 88°C. Once again, Intel is rekindling interest in its GPUs, which we hope will be available very soon.
