Intel is definitely very productive on its driver part. After having published its 101.4314 driver yesterday, team blue is back at it today. This time, the driver is in version 101.4335 and is intended for Star Wars Jedi Survivor.

101.4335 : a pilot for the next Star Wars !

Star Wars Jedi : SurvivorWith this new version of its driver, Intel offers support for the next games. This concerns their Arc series of graphics cards and the games Star Wars Jedi Survivor, The Swordsmen X: Survival and Redfall… And that’s it. Indeed, the driver does not contain any additional optimizations or fixes. You’ll have to make do with the following list of known issues:

  • Intel Arc Graphics Prodcuts:
    • The system may crash when exiting standby and may require a reboot.
    • Hardware acceleration may not be available for media playback with some versions of Adobe Premiere Pro.
    • Topaz Video AI* may experience errors when using some models for video enhancement.
  • Intel Iris Xe Max Graphics Products:
    • Driver installation may not complete properly on some laptops with both Intel Iris Xe + Iris Xe MAX. A reboot and reinstallation of the driver may be required.
  • Intel Core Processors products :
    • Total War Warhammer III (DX11) may crash when loading battle scenarios.
    • Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 (DX12) may display corruptions on some light sources like fire.
    • Conqueror’s Blade (DX12) may crash when launching the game.
    • A Plague Tale: Requiem (DX12) may experience instabilities during gameplay.
    • Battlefield 2042 (DX12) may display color corruptions in the game menu.
    • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 may display color corruptions in the QuickPlay lobby.
  • Intel Arc Control :
    • Windows UAC(User Account Control) is required to install and launch Arc Control.
    • The live monitoring page may not enforce removal of some tiles.
    • Resizable Bar status may show incorrect values on systems with multiple Intel Graphics Adapters.
    • Using Arc Control Studio to capture certain games may incorrectly generate multiple video files.
    • With Intel Arc Control installed, the system may consume slightly more power in sleep or hibernate mode.

In short, we find problems known for at least five or six versions. Concerns that should be corrected in the meantime.
