As far as Intel graphics cards are concerned, a new driver has been released. The new driver, 101.5522, is designed for Hellblade II. Performance gains are also to be found in Starfield. Unfortunately, there won’t be many patches, with only one problem solved on this version.
Intel 101.5522, what’s new :
Intel’s new releases include support for a number of new games. These include Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, the May update of Starfield, Wuthering Waves and XDefiant.
With this, Starfield ‘s May update also benefits from performance improvements. These now average 8% at 1080p with ultra detail. In 1440p, with details in high, the gain in fps reaches an average of 7%. Gains that are always worth taking!
The fix (!) :
The fix deployed by Intel will ultimately concern only a camera problem. Until now, if you tried to activate Vitual Camera while launching a camera preview with a Core Ultra featuring an Arc iGPU , errors could appear. This problem has now been corrected.
Known issues:
Unfortunately, the list of identified problems is still long:
- Intel Arc A-Series:
- Intermittent crashes can be encountered during gameplay on No Rest for the Wicked (DX11).
- The same applies to Enshrouded (Vulkan).
- Flickering can be encountered on Doom Eternal (Vulkan) in-game and on the game menu.
- On PugetBench Extended Preset, the benchmark may fail to complete certain tests on Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Topaz Video AI may encounter errors when using certain templates for video enhancement.
- Intel Core Ultra with Arc iGPU:
- Crashes may occur when loading Avatar: Frontier of Pandora (DX12).
- Crashes on Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves (DX12) may occur when loading to gameplay.
- On PugetBench Extended Preset, the benchmark may fail to complete certain tests on Adobe Premiere Pro.
- With certain memory configurations, Blender may crash when rendering certain scenes.
- On Topaz Video AI, errors may be encountered on some benchmark tests.
- Crashes may occur on Procyon AI when the benchmark is run with Float32 precision.
- Topaz Video AI may encounter errors during video export after using certain templates for video enhancement.
- If you launch a game with Endurance Gaming mode enabled, disabling it may cause VSync to persist during gameplay. To avoid this problem, relaunch the application.
- Intel Core 12th to 14th generation :
- Sporadic crashes may be observed on Dragon Quest X Online (DX9).
- Intel Arc Control:
- During HDR capture, files saved with Arc Control Studio may be corrupted when the mouse cursor is allowed.
- Intermittently, scheduled driver updates may not work.
