Bandai Namco has teamed up with Hyte to offer new PC components and accessories featuring the Gundam universe. We’re expecting to see some very colorful elements, with mechas all over the place. In short, a series of products ideal for fans of the genre.
Gundams come to Hyte!
On the case side, the brand is personalizing its Y70 with a Gundam theme. As you can see, the colors are flashy, with a white base and red feet. Likewise, the power button is yellow, and the top and side ventilation grilles are golden. And, of course, mechas can be found all over the case’s glass windows, both front and side. Last but not least, the screen has been given a special animation when the PCB starts up.
But Hyte doesn’t just offer a case in this universe’s theme: there’s also a keyset. Once again, it’s very colorful, with touches of black, red, blue and yellow. The long keys feature the XXXG-01W Gundam Wing and OZ-13MS Gundam Epyon mechas. Of course, no ISO-FR layout… Obviously, the brand is concentrating on the most universal layouts possible, with ANSI and ISO-UK. As for the base material, it’s hard to say whether it’s ABS or PBT.
Finally, Hyte presents a rather imposing mouse pad. In terms of dimensions, it measures 90×40 cm and benefits from a realistic-style artwork that contrasts with the visuals offered on the keyset or the case. Clearly, prices are high, with the case priced at $499.99, the keyset at $109.99 and $29.99 for the mousepad. The brand also offers a wall poster, which we won’t go into details here, priced at $34.99. Unfortunately, these products will only be available on the American continent.
