Gigabyte has a new graphics card for the professional sector, the RADEON Pro W7800 AI Top. This new card is based on a GPU whose configuration is a cross between an RX 7800 XT and an RX 7900 GRE, but with a huge memory capacity!

RADEON PRO W7800 AI Top: a 48GB card for Gigabyte!

RADEON Pro W7800 AI TopThe programme features a graphics card using a blower heatsink… A classic solution in the professional sector. What’s more, this model occupies just two expansion slots, making it easy to integrate into professional configurations.

What’s interesting here, however, is the memory capacity, which has clearly increased, with 48 GB of VRAM. It’s worth noting that with four cards installed, you have a total memory capacity of 192 GB – depending on the application, that could be worthwhile!

On the GPU side, we have a Navi 31 chip with a total of 70 compute units, or 4480 stream processors. This configuration places this model between an RX 7800 XT and an RX 7900 GRE. However, from a memory point of view, compared with the 32 GB version, the memory bus is larger, increasing from 256 bits to 384. What’s more, although memory frequency has not increased (18 Gbps), bandwidth has increased from 576 GB/s to 864 GB/s.

Finally, the power supply is via two 8-pin PCIe connectors. The video outputs include three DisplayPort 2.1 and one mini DisplayPort 2.1.
