New fan for the Genesis brand which announces its Oxal 120, a model intended for cases. Moreover, it is a rather slow fan that should not generate too much noise.
Oxal 120: the new Genesis fan!
With this new model, the brand offers us a 120 mm fan quite classic. It features a 120 mm frame with a 25 mm thickness. Moreover, this famous frame has rubber silentblocks whose purpose is to reduce as much as possible the parasitic vibrations.
Next to that, we find nine blades driven by a sleeve bearing motor. The power supply will be via a three-pin plug in 12V.
Regarding its operating speed, the mill will turn at a maximum of 1300 rpm. At this speed, the air flow will be 46.1 CFM while the static pressure will reach 1.05 mmH2O. Clearly, this is a fan that will be used for case ventilation. On a air cooler or watercooling radiator, it looks a bit weak.
The advantage remains the very affordable price of this solution: 4.99 € per unit against 11.99 € in pack of three.
