NVIDIA has come up with a new patch in the form of GeForce 551.46 hotFix. This driver corrects stuttering problems that users may encounter in various scenarios. We take stock!
GeForce 551.46 hotfix, the patches :
Without further ado, here are the problems this driver fixes:
- Some users may experience in-game stuttering when vertical sync is enabled [4445940].
- Potential stuttering can be observed when scrolling on certain web browsers with certain configurations [4362307].
- On Red Dead Redemption 2, under Vulkan, stuttering may be observed on some Advanced Optimus notebooks [4426987].
- Fixed stability issues on Immortals of Aveum during long periods of gameplay [4415277].
For the rest, this driver is based on version 551.23, which dates from the launch of the RTX 4070 Ti Super. As a reminder, in addition to providing support for the card in question, this version corrected a crash or freeze problem on Forza Horizon 4 in particular. Otherwise, the following known problems are still present:
- With an RTX 4060 Ti, the display may flicker randomly with a black bar at the top of the screen when using a desktop application. [4239893].
- Horizontal stripes may appear when cloning a G-Sync display on an HDMI monitor [4103923/4343427]
