GeForce 546.31: a patch for Discord streaming and V-Sync!

Shortly after the release of the GeForce 546.29 driver, NVIDIA published a Hotfix version as a patch. In the latter, we learn that the company is correcting two annoying problems. One relates to streaming on Discord, the other to V-Sync!

Discord NitroIn the end, the company is focusing on two troublesome points. The first has to do with streaming, and more specifically, streaming on Discord, the famous VOIP and instant messaging software. Indeed, when you wanted to share gameplay on the platform, colors could appear dimmed. With this hotfix, this is now corrected.

The second point concerns a wider range of users. When V-Sync is activated, stuttering can occur… And what could be more annoying in a game? In short, this is the second point corrected by this version.

Otherwise, the driver is based on NVIDIA driver version 546.29, which offers the following changelog:

  • Game Ready for :
    • Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition
    • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III season 1
    • THRONE AND LIBERTY
    • Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
    • Fortnite Chapter 5

On the other hand, it’s a pilot that updates the profile of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. As for known issues, the only ones left are :

  • Problems displaying video on Netflix when using Microsoft Edge. To work around the problem, use the NetFlix Windows application [4388454].
