During the SC24 conference, an event organised around the world of servers, NVIDIA was obviously present to announce some new products. Among them was the GB200 NVL4, a solution featuring four B200 GPUs and two Grace processors, all in a single module!
GB200 NVL4: a 6,000W TDP solution!
Clearly, NVIDIA’s aim with this new solution is to push artificial intelligence performance to the maximum. The GB200 was already the best-performing solution on the market, but now the company is going even further.
To push the bar even higher, this new solution features a total of four Blackwell GPUs, as well as two Grace processors. Everything is interconnected with NVLink in every direction.
In any case, this new product promises insane performance, with x2.2 in simulation and x1.8 in inference and AI training. With this, we can count on 1.3 TB of memory and a TDP of 6,000W!
For the moment, it’s not yet available, but we’re expecting it in the coming months. As for the price, we’d rather not think about it, but clearly it will contribute to increasing the overall weight of the GPU market.
