At the beginning of the month, we told you about the Gamer RGB RAM in DDR5 from Galax. However, we did not have all the features of these kits, or even the price. This is now done as the memory is available for purchase online.
Gamer RGB : known specs !
As a reminder, the Gamer RAM from Galax are DDR5 kits with a very singular design. Indeed, the memory displays a heatsink with shapes similar to Lego pieces. Moreover, it seems that you can customize your memory by adding pieces on the top of the heatsink in addition to being able to play with the RGB lighting. Nevertheless, beware of the height of 143 mm which could cause problems with the largest aircooling fans.
However, what interests us most here are its characteristics. Indeed, the memory is equipped with chips from Hynix which should make it particularly playful in overclocking… Well, this is true for the fastest kit, but not for the other two.
In addition, several kits are available within this range since we find sets of 16 GB (2×8 GB) and 32 GB (2x 16 GB). Regarding the frequencies, the brand announces kits of 4800 MT/s (Micron chips), 5600 MT/s (Samsung chips) and 6200 MT/s (Hynix chips). As for the timings, all this little world runs respectively at : 40-40-40-77, 36-38-38-76 and 32-38-38-76. In terms of voltages, we have 1.1V, 1.25V and 1.35V. Finally, we finish with the confirmation that the PCB has 8 layers.
Now we finish with the selling price of 2999.00 yuan. However, with shipping costs, customs and various taxes, you can expect to pay between 600 € and 650 € for your memory kit.
