G.SKILL is definitely very active at the moment when it comes to AMD platforms. After unveiling low-latency 6000 MT/s CL28 kits, a 6400 MT/s CL30 series has now been unveiled for AMD configurations. A limited version kit in 8000 MT/s and AMD EXPO compatible is about to arrive.

G.SKILL is unveiling a DDR5 kit with a frequency of 6400 MT/s and timings of 30-39-39-102, available in 32 GB (2×16 GB). This new specification will be available in the Trident Z5 RGB and Trident Z5 Royal series with support for the Intel XMP 3.0 profile, as well as in the Trident Z5 Neo RGB and Trident Z5 Royal Neo series with support for the AMD EXPO profile. This kit will therefore be suitable for both Blues and Reds. We don’t yet know the price, but availability has been announced for August.

The G.SKILL team strives to push the performance limits of memory kits, and low latency is a key factor in overclocking for enthusiasts and overclockers. Compared to the DDR5-4800 CL40 standard, this new DDR5-6400 CL30 specification improves memory speed and latency.
