G.Skill announces new memory kits to complement its Trident Z5 Royal Neo series. This time, the company is announcing new low-latency RAMs. We’re talking about sets running at up to 6000 MT/s, all in CL28!
Trident Z5 Royal Neo: 6000 MT/s and low latency!
This is the brand’s top-of-the-range series. We know this, and it shows, thanks to the presence of a chromed aluminum heatsink with a silver or gold mirror effect. On the top, the light bar features a diamond-like finish, reinforcing the high-end look. On the other hand, you’ll have to be careful with the height of the RAM, especially if you’re using an aircooling heatsink.
In terms of specifications, we’re talking about kits featuring :
- 2×16 GB and 2×32 GB at 6000 MT/s with timings of 28-36-36-96
- 2×24 GB and 2×48 GB at 6000 MT/s with timings of 28-38-38-96
The memory is also compatible with AMD platforms and features EXPO profiles. To take advantage of these features, you’ll need to go to the bios and activate the profiles mentioned above.
Availability is scheduled for August, but prices have yet to be determined.
