Silverstone announces a new power supply, but also a small innovation. Indeed, the small Extreme 850R Platinum is not only a powerful SFX block, but also the first SFX12V 4.0 compliant block!

However, it is also distinguished by its compliance with the SFX12V 4.0 standard. This means that it uses the specifications of the ATX 3.0 standard while being equipped with a 12VHPWR connector.

Otherwise, this block has a single 12V rail that can deliver 70.8A. Of course, the construction involves capacitors of Japanese origin. The design uses an LLC type circuit and also benefits from an active PFC . And for the protection part, you can find OCP,OPP,OVP, SCP,UVP and OTP.

In terms of connectivity, you should know that it is fully modular. Secondly, this model features a single 24-pin ATX and a duo ofEPS12V 4+4 pins for the CPU.
