The MinisForum brand (specialized in mini-PCs) launches a new product, the EliteMini CR50. As usual, the brand offers us a mini-PC, but equipped with a dedicated GPU and a console CPU!

EliteMini CR50: an AMD 4700S CPU and an RX 550!

MinisForum EliteMini CR50With its new machine, the brand offers us an ultra compact PC measuring only 192 (W) x 205.7 (D) x 86.3 (H) mm. However, inside this small case, we find an AMD 4700S processor with 8 cores and 16 threads that can reach 4.00 GHz in boost. Moreover, via Tom’s Hardwarewe learn that it is a PS5 APU deprived of its graphics part. To compensate for this lack, MinisForum opts for a dedicated graphics card, an RX 550 in our case.

However, keep in mind that RAM upgrades (up to 16GB) or CPU changes are not possible. Indeed, these components are soldered to the motherboard… Except for the GPU. Finally, as far as storage is concerned, we find a choice of 2.5″ SSD in 256 GB or 512 GB.

At the back, the machine will offer the necessary to connect all your peripherals since we find four USB 2.0. These are complemented by two USB 3.2 Gen1 and two USB 3.2 Gen.2. We finish with an Ethernet 1000 Mpbs, audio, power port, HDMI and DVI.

For the price, it will be necessary to count 705,06 € for the version with SSD of 256 Go against 739,50 € for the 512 Go of storage.
