The company specialized in cooling solutions for servers, Dynatron, announces a new cooling unit. This time, it’s the A50, an air cooling system designed to be installed in 3U racks or other workstations.
A50: an aircooling fan for 3U rack !
The A50 is an aircooling heatsink in single tower format. The latter offers compact dimensions, necessarily, it must fit in a 3U rack . This translates into dimensions of 82 (W) x 119 (D) x 110 (H) mm. It offers a simple stack of aluminum fins crossed by four copper heat pipes. These meet at a wide base with pre-applied thermal paste.
However, it will be distinguished by its very thick 80mm fan: 38mm. As is often the case, fans designed to go into servers are not there to preserve your ears, it has to blow! That’s why it can reach 8000 rpm at full speed. This translates into an airflow of 38.3 CFM. Here, no notion of static pressure, but the sheet mentions a power of 24.72W at 100% of the PWM cycle.
All that remains is to know the selling price of the heatsink.
