Jonsbo announces a new PC accessory, the DS339. Essentially, it’s a small screen dedicated to system monitoring. Thanks to a dedicated utility, it offers the possibility of displaying various PC-related information, while occupying minimal space. Although this is not the first version of its kind offered by the brand, it is considerably less imposing than the DS8, for example.
DS339: a mini display for monitoring your PC!
It doesn’t take up any space and can be slipped in anywhere!
In terms of dimensions, this screen really doesn’t take up much room, measuring 90 (W) x 35 (D) x 11 (H) mm. What’s more, it comes with a dedicated stand that lets you position it wherever you want in a PC case. It can also be positioned on a graphics card, all without adding too much weight since it weighs just 58g.
As for the screen itself, we’re dealing with a small 3.39″ IPS slab, the equivalent of what you’d find on an all-in-one watercooling kit pump, but in an enlarged format. Resolution is 376×960 and brightness 300 cd/m². Connection to the motherboard is via a USB 2.0 header.
Management is entrusted to a utility supplied by Jonsbo, which will monitor CPU/GPU/RAM usage, storage occupancy or network traffic, as well as temperature. It will also be possible to manage display orientation and even broadcast videos.
A mini price!
In terms of price, we’re talking about a mere twenty euros for this accessory. We’re also wondering about the availability of this model, although we’re sure to find it on Amazon. But the question is: useless gadget, indispensable or indispensable because useless?
