Now, a quick look at ASUS, which is exhibiting a new motherboard on its Computex stand. The brand is presenting a new board related to the ROG series. Clearly, this is the new Hero, but in its BTF version, i.e. with inverted connectors. Make way for the future Z890 Hero BTF!

Z890 Hero: time for the new BTF card!

ASUS Z890 Hero BTF

The program features a pure ROG board. This is a follow-up model to the Z790 Hero BTF, since, as you can see, there are no visible connectors. In fact, the 24-pin ATX, EPS12V CPU and various headers are mounted upside down. The aim is to ensure wiring via the invisible part of the case! The same applies to the graphics card, with a High-Power Slot connector in the extension of the PCIe connector.

The card itself benefits from a LGA-1851 socket, which features more pins… Despite unchanged external dimensions. On the chipset side, we’re treated to a Z890, the latest from Intel, which will enable you to overclock your processor without too much trouble.

Connectivity-wise, we’ve got what it takes, with Thunderbolt 4, WiFi 7,USB4 and 5 GbE Ethernet.
