Razer is obviously present at CES, and the brand is taking the opportunity to unveil its new generation of laptops. On the program is the Blade 16 sauce 2025, slimmer, more powerful, more comfortable… in short, just better, according to the company. Let’s take a look at its concrete features.

Blade 16 2025 edition: what’s new, Doctor?

With this laptop, the brand offers us a reference displaying a 16″ OLED panel with QHD resolution (2880×1440). However, responsiveness is also top-notch, with the brand announcing a frequency of 240 Hz and latency of 0.2 ms.

This slab will be powered by a solid configuration. Indeed, for the processor part, the brand has opted for AMD Ryzen, with a maximum configuration based on the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. This is an AMD CPU with 12 Zen 5 cores capable of turbocharging up to 5.1 GHz. This CPU also incorporates an XDNA NPU with 50 Tops of power, enabling the PC to achieve Copilot certification and benefit from the dedicated key on the keyboard.

As for the GPU, Razer is going all out, with a graphics part that goes up to the RTX 5090… The most powerful mobile card on the market. This 10,496 cuda-core card features a total of 24 GB GDDR7. The TGP promises to be significant: 155W.

Where the brand surprises us is in the thickness of the chassis: the PC is 1.5 cm thick, a 32% reduction in thickness. This raises the question of how the brand will cool such a configuration. Indeed, with a 12-core processor and an RTX 5090, it’s bound to get hot. It remains to be seen whether the vapour-chamber-based cooling system will be up to the task… And under what sound conditions, too.

Finally, a word about the keyboard, whose previous generation was clearly not the most pleasant to use. For this 2025 vintage, the brand announces that it has increased the total key travel to 1.5 mm, i.e. 50% more than the previous laptop generation.

For the moment, no price has been announced, but clearly, it’s going to sting like hell. El Chapuzas Informatico is quoting starting prices of $2,899 for RTX 5090M-equipped PCs. Add to that Razer’s stamp of approval, and you’ve got an outrageous bill.
