[CES 2024] New products from Alphacool

0

We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to visit Alphacool at CES 2024. So we headed off to Alphacool’s private hotel suite to check out their new products. Let’s start with the Alphacool Core 1 LT, a “light” version of the Core 1 we tested a few weeks ago. It will feature a simpler maze, the internal circuit, and a plexiglass top. It will feature RGB backlighting and will be available in white or black. Good news, too, regarding its price, which should be even more aggressive than that of the Core 1.

We continue with the new APEX 1, a high-end monoblock waterblock with an invisible mounting system. The waterblock is attached to the rear of the motherboard PCB. Alphacool is also working on waterblocks to keep CPUs and power supplies cool. We were able to discover a block for an AORUS X670E motherboard, as well as for the superb ROG Maximus Z790 HERO EVA-02 Edition motherboard from the Evangelion series.

It was also an opportunity for us to discover the new APEX RAM X4 memory block, responsible for keeping your memory sticks cool. Alphacool also presented a new Quickconnect quick-fit system, with a flow restriction of just 10%. We look forward to bringing you a full review of Alphacool’s Quickconnect in the coming weeks.

In terms of new features, Alphacool also presented its new CORE XT45 Aurora radiator, which features an interchangeable face depending on radiator orientation, as well as the new Core Tube tank. Finally, we were able to see for ourselves the superb APEX SKELETON housing, available in two finishes: a steel version and a full carbon version.

A little bird tells me that you should soon be able to find these new components on test with us! Thanks to Alphacool for its warm welcome.
