A little news from Hyte, who are announcing their all-in-one watercooling kit, the Thicc Q60. It features a massive LCD screen on top of the pump, a 5″ model with 720p HD resolution!

Thicc Q60: an AIO with a big screen from Hyte!

Hyte Q60If you like screens all over your components, this AIO should satisfy you. Indeed, that’s its main asset: an imposing screen mounted on top of its pump. As you can see, the screen has a large diagonal of 5″, and is capable of displaying 720p. So much for the competition!

What’s more, the screen is IPS, displays at 60Hz and boasts a brightness of 300 nits. At the back, we’re also treated to aRGB lighting made up of 42 addressable diodes.

Otherwise, this original waterblock is coupled to a thick 240 mm aluminum radiator. The radiator is 52 mm thick and has two 120×32 mm fans. Clearly, this is a monster and you’ll need room in your case to accommodate it.

Still on the subject of ventilation, the airflow is claimed to be 105.8 CFM, while the static pressure is 8.14 mmH2O… Enough to make a bald man’s hair stand on end! However, beware of noise pollution, as at full speed, the fans will spin at up to 3,000 rpm. Having a thick radiator is all well and good, but you need fan power to blow through it!

All that’s left to talk about is the price: $299.99 on the brand’s official website. Believe it or not, it’s cheaper than the Corsair iCUE Link LCD kits. Availability will be in the first quarter in Europe, although it’s already available in North America.
