[CES 2024] A wataircooling prototype from XPG!

ADATA, also present at CES, has unveiled its first hybrid heatsink prototypes. The company is compacting an AIO in the form of an aircooling heatsink… A wataircooling of sorts!

The concept of wataircooling is becoming a reality at ADATA!

ADATA XPG WataircoolingBasically, the company is taking up a concept already in Apaltek‘s catalogue, an AIO in the form of a tower. As you can see, this has a copper base at the bottom with a stack of aluminum fins just above. There are also channels for liquid circulation, and a pump to circulate it. The pump is mounted at the top of the heatsink.

It remains to be seen when this solution will be available. Note that ADATA claims a cooling capacity of 280W with this solution. However, if this heatsink lives up to its promises, it will save us a great deal of space, as dissipating 280W with aircooling means that the dimensions will soon be very large!
