be quiet! introduces its first fully ATX 3.0 compatible power supplies: Dark Power 13. Consisting of three models with 750, 850 and 1000 watts respectively, Dark Power 13 directly replaces its predecessor, Dark Power 12. All models offer full ATX 3.0 support for compatibility with next-generation graphics cards and feature an innovative 135mm Silent Wings frameless fan, while maintaining the extraordinary efficiency and performance of the 80 PLUS Titanium certification. Enthusiasts can count on an overclocking key , which combines the four 12V rails into a single rail with higher power output, ideal for overclocked processors or graphics cards.
Full ATX 3.0 support
The Dark Power 13 includes full ATX 3.0 compatibility, which meets the power characteristics defined by PCI Express 5.0. Unlike ATX 2.X, which supports high voltage spikes but does not define a maximum above the power supply’s rating, ATX 3.0 defines clear target values. Specifically, the PCIe connection for the graphics card must allow for voltage fluctuations of up to three times the power consumption. The Dark Power 13 is designed to handle these extreme voltage transients with ease. ATX 3.0 power supplies of 450 watts or more also require a new 12VHPWR connector, capable of delivering significantly more power. All Dark Power 13 models support up to 600 watts of power on the 12VHPWR connector, while offering four traditional PCIe 6+2 connectors for full graphics card compatibility.
Titanium efficiency and ultra-low noise levels
Like the Dark Power 12, the Dark Power 13 is 80 PLUS Titanium certified (i.e. up to 95.8% efficiency) and features the advanced “Active Rectifier + Full Bridge LLC + SR + DC-DC” topology and an internal wireless design on the DC side. For maximum reliability and signal quality from the four 12V rails, the Dark Power 13 relies exclusively on high-end components such as long-life 105°C Japanese capacitors. be quiet! again uses an innovative, patented frameless fan for the Dark Power 13 series. The 135 mm Silent Wings is placed directly under a full mesh front panel with a redesigned funnel-shaped opening for optimal air circulation, ensuring optimal cooling of the components, even under extreme load. A redesigned and optimized noise profile with lower overall noise level makes the fan virtually inaudible while keeping your system at a constant low temperature.
