This morning, we switch a little in the world of servers with ASRock Rack which announces a new motherboard. The small B650D4U-2L2T / BCM is a model intended for professional use. It will host a Ryzen 7000 CPU, all in micro-ATX format!

With this model, we find a card in micro-ATX format. It embeds an AM5 socket and a B650E chipset. As you can see, the layout is original with a socket and memory slots oriented at 90° counterclockwise.
The connectivity includes three PCIe, one in x16 5.0, a second in x4 4.0 and a last in x1 4.0. In terms of memory, we have four DIMM slots in DDR5. They will be able to accommodate up to 128 GB of memory at a maximum of 5200 MT/s.
The storage part highlights a total of four SATA III connectors. Finally, an M.2 in PCIe 5.0 x4 closes the brand. It will be able to accommodate an SSD M.2 2280 or 2242.
Nevertheless, what is interesting here is the rear connectivity. It then has VGA, HDMI and DisplayPort video outputs. With this, we find a serial port type DB9. On the USB side, we have four type A ports with the 3.2 Gen1 standard. We finish with the five Ethernet ports, two in 10 GbE(Broadcom BCM57416), two in 1 GbE(Intel i210) and one dedicated to IPMI functions(ASPEED AST2600). And a UID button with LED closes the process.
