Gigabyte has launched a new motherboard, the B650 Aorus Stealth Ice. This new model is rather unusual in that it’s a BTF-type reference, Project Zero in Gigabyte’s sauce, but in white and designed for AMD CPUs!

As you can see, Gigabyte offers us an ATX-format reference equipped with a shield that covers a vast area of the board’s PCB. Otherwise, apart from the PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, the four DDR5 memory slots and the socket, there are no visible connectors on this model. In fact, whether it’s the EPS12V CPU, the 24-pinATX, the SATA connectors, the fan sockets, etc., everything has migrated to the back of the PCB. The aim is simple: no visible connectors!

Naturally, this arrangement is intended to enhance the configuration’s aesthetic appeal, and Gigabyte has let loose in this respect. Indeed, the shield features an attractive Aorus logo, while aRGB lighting is present in various places. Not to mention the fact that the PCB is also white, as are the various heatsinks.

Now, let’s take note of the presence of a total of 12 2 2 power supply phases for the CPU. Interesting features include simplified connection of WiFi antennas and a simplified PCIe slot release latch. The same goes for M.2 SSD mounting, with a tool-free assembly system.
