Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, big machines required!

After talking to you about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, we now turn our attention to Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, which has been given its own graphics card. The title will require muscular configurations to run, especially in UHD. What’s more, FSR2 seems necessary to achieve the framerates indicated!

Avatar Frontiers of Pandora: FSR2 required!

Avatar Frontiers of PandoraWithout further ado, let’s get to the heart of the matter with the minimum configuration. Here, we’re aiming for 30 FPS in 1080p, and to achieve this, we’ll need to turn down the details with FSR2 set to quality mode. The processor part will therefore require a Ryzen 5 3600/Intel Core i7 8700K. As for graphics, we’ll be going for RX 5700XT, GTX 1070, Arc A750. In any case, a CG with 8 GB seems to be the minimum, and as for RAM, 16 GB are required.

If you’re looking for 60 FPS, high quality, once again, you’ll have to make do with an FSR2 in quality mode. As for configuration, the CPU is a Ryzen 5 5600X or a Core i5 11600K. Graphics are handled by an RX 6700 XT or RTX 3060 Ti, with no change in RAM.

We now move on to 1440p, high detail, at 60 FPS and FSR2 in quality mode. There’s no change here on the processor side, but it’s a gulf on the graphics card side, with an RX 6800 XT or RTX 3080 required! VRAM usage is clearly in excess of 8 GB, with the 3080 packing 10 GB of memory.

Finally, in UHD with ultra detail, at 60 FPS, you’ll need to switch the FSR2 to balanced mode. As for the rest of the machine, we’ll need a top-level PC with a Ryzen 5 5800X3D or a Core i7 12700K. RAM is 16 GB. However, the graphics part is a real beater, with the RX 7900 XTX and RTX 4080 on display!

Finally, Ubisoft recommends using an SSD for storage, and you’ll need at least 90 GB of free space.

The game will be released on December 7, so we’ll see how greedy the title is. Nevertheless, the use of FSR2 seems to us rather unreassuring as to the title’s greediness.
