ASUS announces a new watercooling kit… At last, a new version of an existing kit. Indeed, the brand is launching a white version of its Ryuo IV SLC 360 aRGB (initially presented for CES). As a reminder, this is a top-of-the-range AIO which, like the Tryx Panorama, features a curved OLED screen on the pump cover!
Ryuo IV SLC 360 aRGB White: a new color from ASUS!
The special feature of this kit is the imposing screen on top of the pump… And with good reason: it’s a 6.67″ curved OLED model with “2K” resolution. Thanks to the curvature of the screen, you’ll be able to display system information, as well as .gif, .jpg and 3D animation files.
Naturally, the kit is equipped with a 32mm-thick aluminum radiator, while the finish is meticulous, with an embossed ROG logo on the sides, grainy paintwork and missing rivets.
Ventilation is provided by a trio of fans connected to each other by their frames. These will operate at high speed, up to 2800 rpm, generating an airflow of 89.73 CFM and a static pressure of 5.15 mmH2O. ROG patterns can also be seen on the wafers, which will be illuminated when the kit is in operation.
Finally, the other special feature of this AIO is its very short pipes. The aim, when the heatsink is mounted at the top of a case, is to hide them as much as possible. However, this tends to widen the radiator, which, despite its 360 mm format, is 420 mm wide.
Clearly, prices aren’t cheap, as the model retails at around €360 compared with €390~400 for the white model, according to early listings… But it’s also an opportunity to have an AIO that stands out from the crowd, provided you can afford it!
