Asus continues to offer us a few new features and this time the brand is taking a look at its AP201 case. Indeed, the Taiwanese company has decided to add a tempered glass side panel. As a reminder, the two side panels were originally made of mesh. This is good news, as it allows us to have a view inside the PC.
AP201: a version with a tempered glass side panel!
As a reminder, with this case, Asus offers us a classic reference belonging to its Prime series. This model is therefore compact with dimensions of 205 (W) x 460 (D) x 350 (H) mm for a weight of 5.8 kg.
Internally, the case offers enough space to accommodate a micro-ATX motherboard at maximum. Otherwise, we have up to 170 mm height for a CPU fan , 338 mm for the graphics card and 140 to 180 mm for the power supply.
On the storage side, nothing revolutionary with a dedicated 2.5″ drive slot. Otherwise, we have three more 3.5″/2.5″ slots spread across the bottom.
As for cooling, we have three 120mm slots at the top versus one at the back. However, there is no mention of the possibility of installing one at the bottom. However, it does ensure compatibility with watercooling radiators in 360/280 mm at the top.
For the time being, this tempered glass version can only be found sparingly in the trade. This results in prices between ~106 € and 123 € for the black and white versions.
