ASRock offers three all-white motherboards

ASRock has launched three new motherboards. What makes them special? All white and with style… After all, as the brand itself puts it: ” Snowy with style “. On a more serious note, the brand offers us its B760M-HDV/M.2, H610M-HDV/M.2 D5 and B550M Pro Se in AM4!

ASRock B760M-HDV/M.2 and H610M-HDV/M.2 D5, two new Intel :

On the Intel side, we find two small motherboards in micro-ATX format. Naturally, the brand covers the entry-level segment, with one board equipped with an H610 chipset and the other with a B760M. Both boards feature two DDR5 memory slots. Only the frequency supported varies from one model to another: 5600 MT/s on the H610, 7200 MT/s for the B760.

Otherwise, connectivity is almost identical, based on PCIe x16 4.0. The B760 stands out for its two PCIe x1 3.0 slots, compared with one for the H610, while the storage section is different, since the B760M-HDV/M.2 offers two M.2 slots, one in PCIe 3.0 x4, the other in PCIe 4.0 x4, as well as an M.2 Key E for a WiFi module. On the other hand, the H610 will have to make do with a single M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4. In both cases, however, we have four SATA IIIs.

Last but not least, the audio part is based on Realtek ALC897. As for networking, the B760 has 2.5 GbE Ethernet (RTL8125BG), while the H610 has 1 GbE Ethernet (RTL8111H).

B550M Pro SE: a new AM4 model!

ASRock B550M Pro SeAs far as AMD’s board is concerned, we can’t be exhaustive, as the brand has yet to put its datasheet online. However, we can already guess that it is in micro-ATX format and features a B550 chipset.

The card features four DDR4 memory slots whose frequencies have yet to be determined. As for PCIe, the first slot is x16 4.0, the second x1 3.0 and the last… probably x1 or x4 3.0?

Storage is still based on four SATA IIIs. These are complemented by a PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 placed under the socket, the famous Hyper M.2. By the way, if you want to know the M.2 standard, ASRock calls them as follows:

  • Ultra M.2: PCIe 3.0
  • Hyper M.2: PCIe 4.0
  • Blazing M.2: PCIe 5.0

All that’s left now is to find out the prices, which, of course, have not yet been announced.
