An Intel 101.5382 driver to correct a few problems!

Intel has released a new driver, version 101.5382. The main aim here is to correct annoying problems. On the program, no support for new games or anything else, just fixes. After that, it’s all good news.

Without further ado, let’s get to the heart of the matter with the list of patches:

  • Intel Arc A Series:
    • Horizon Forbidden West (DX12) now loads longer than normal on first launch.
    • No more 3DMark Speed Way (DX12) crashes when loading the benchmark.
    • No more crashes on Starfield (DX12) with high or Ultra graphics settings.
  • Intel Core Ultra :
    • Fixed crashes on 3DMark Speed Way (DX12) when loading the benchmark.

These were the only new features offered by Intel for this driver. All that remains is to talk about the known problems:

  • Intel Arc A Series:
    • During gameplay phases or in the game menu, flashing corruptions may appear on Doom Eternal (Vulkan).
    • On some Adobe Premiere Pro processing tests, the PugetBench Extended preset may fail.
    • Topaz Video AI may encounter errors when using certain video enhancement templates.
  • Intel Core Ultra with Intel Arc Graphics Products:
    • Field corruptions may be observed on Diablo 4 (DX12).
    • Crashes may occur when loading Avatar: Frontier of Pandora (DX12).
    • Crashes may occur on Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves (DX12) when loading to gameplay before shader compilation is complete in the main menu.
    • On some Adobe Premiere Pro processing tests, the PugetBench Extended preset may fail.
    • When launching the SPECAPC benchmark on Autodesk Maya, the software may crash.
    • With certain memory configurations, Blender may crash when rendering certain scenes.
    • Topaz Video AI may encounter errors when using certain templates for video enhancement.
    • Procyon AI may crash when the benchmark is run with Float32 precision.
  • Intel Core Processor (12th-14th Generation) Products :
    • Sporadic crashes can be observed on Dragon Quest X Online (DX9).
