Coming from one of the most reliable sources of the website, we have the right to the price and characteristics of the next processors that AMD should launch on April 20, accompanied by a refresh of

the RX 6000 graphics cards. The expected Ryzen 5800X3D, featuring 3D V-Cache which allows it to offer 96 MB in L3 (100 MB in combination with L2) would be positioned at the same price as the 5800X with an MSRP at $ 449. Moreover, a new leak would indicate that this processor would not currently have overclocking capability!

Moreover, it won’t be the only CPU launched these days. Indeed, AMD would complete its offer with 6 new processors, with the aim of offering a cheaper range than currently (composed mostly of X version).

Based on Zen 3, the Ryzen 7 5700X, Ryzen 5 5600 and 5500 will join the range with MSRP of respectively 299$, 199$ and 159$ against currently 449$ for the 5800X and 299$ for the 5600X. The other three CPUs will be based on Zen 2, with the Ryzen 5 4600G, 4500 and Ryzen 3 4100 at $154, $129 and $99 each.

Of course, these processors will have lower frequencies compared to their big brother, but will also come with a significant price drop, to offer a lower entry ticket, but fight with Intel that has become very aggressive on the pricing front with the Alder Lake generation.
