Insomniac Games, publishers of Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, have released a new patch for their game. The new version, 1.808.0.0, allows users of AMD graphics cards to enjoy the shimmering effects of ‘ray tracing’. However, you’ll need to use the AMD 23.10.23.03 driver mentioned above.

However, these are not the only changes introduced by the update. It also solves crash problems when the game was running on older processors. Likewise, in connection with Ray Tracing, there are visual improvements to certain reflections and shadows. Not to mention various fixes to the user interface and other visual corruptions. Various bugs, stability improvements and optimization’s have also been made.

As a reminder, if you want to activate Ray Tracing with your AMD card, you’ll need an RX 6800 XT to play serenely in 1440p, high detail. For very high effects, in UHD at 60 fps, an RX 7900 XTX is recommended.
