Staying with graphics drivers, AMD has also released a dedicated driver for Alan Wake II. AMD is following in NVIDIA’s footsteps in this area. However, this version is much more succinct, correcting just one problem!

The note of change will therefore be ultra-reduced, since this driver is content to correct a single problem. In fact, AMD has announced that it is rectifying the :
- Flickering problem that can be observed on some of the game’s textures!
Soon enough, we move on to the problems identified as requiring a fix:
- Performance overlay may display ” N/A ” in the FPS box on some games.
- Audio/video desynchronization may occur when recording in AV1 via RADEON Software.
- Visual corruptions can be observed on Forza Motorsport when ray tracing is activated
- Intermittent flickering can be briefly observed on the Total War: Pharaoh menu after changing graphics settings.
As for the cards concerned by this new version, we note that the Vega and Polaris GPUs are not among the models supported.
That’s it, that’s the content of the driver dedicated to the game. We imagine that the next one will focus more on concerns linked to Anti-Lag on reds.
