AIO Steel Shadow Pro and Ultra from Thermaltake!

Thermaltake has announced new all-in-one watercooling kits. The programme includes the ‘钢影’, literally translated as Steel Shadow. In short, there are two versions on offer, with Pro and Ultra series kits, featuring an LCD screen in the case of the Ultra model and a digital display in the case of the other!

Steel Shadow, two new AIOs with screens from Thermaltake!

Thermalright Steel ShadowThe programme includes Pro and Ultra models, as we mentioned earlier. While the technical specifications may seem identical between the two, there is one difference: the screen. The Ultra model has a screen just as we imagined it, with a diagonal of 2.4″ and a resolution of 320×240 px. The Pro series makes do with a simple digital display like the DeepCool AK620 Digitial.

More concretely, both kits benefit from a 360 mm radiator with a finish that looks quite convincing: square edges, no visible rivets. What’s more, the thickness is quite standard: 27 mm.

Cooling is provided by a trio of fans operating from 600 to 2,500 rpm. However, these fans are strong, with an airflow of 84.58 CFM and a static pressure of 3.2 mmH2O.

On the pump side, in addition to the various display systems, an aRGB lighting system seems to have been integrated, with small spikes of colour here and there. Surprisingly, however, the pump’s flow rate is given as 1.3l/min. Generally speaking, AIO manufacturers don’t give flow rate information.

Finally, a word about socket compatibility. With the disappearance of HEDT platforms, these kits will only be compatible with Intel LGA-1851/1700/1200/115x platforms as well as AM4 and AM5.

Although prices are not known, we assume a 3-year warranty. However, knowing Thermaltake, these models should be very competitive.
