According to a new rumor, AMD Ryzen 7000 desktop processors might have 2 lines: Raphael and Raphael-X. The first one will consist of the standard Ryzen 7000 desktop processors that will be launched this year, while Raphael-X will be equipped with 3D V-Cache next year. This range will be called Ryzen 7000X3D. We do not discover this range but until then its release seemed risky.
The other information ( which is more a confirmation ), concerns the management of the ram on these Ryzen 7000 and Ryzen 7000X3D series. They will support DDR5-5600 memory natively, as for the next Intel Raptor Lake. The overclocking capabilities of the upcoming Ryzen are highlighted by several brand officials. However, we’ll have to see if this is also the case for these possible Ryzen 7000X3D. Indeed, the 5800X3D, which uses the same principle of adding 3D V-Cache, is very limited due to the heat generated by the addition of cache. Even if some have managed to partially bypass the problem, it seems difficult to envisage a major change on this next generation. Some time ago, Greymon55 envisaged the arrival of Ryzen 7000X3D processors in mid-2023 , allowing AMD to take over from Intel’s Raptor Lake.
