Cougar is set to release a new case, the CFV220, a new model that features three tempered glass panels to provide a clear view of the system’s interior. Additionally, to maximize airflow, it features a front-mounted power supply bay and unobstructed fan mounts at the bottom!
CFV220 RGB: one case, three glass panels!Â
Airflow that promises to be efficient:
With this new model, the brand offers a mid-tower case. It measures 235 (W) x 446 (D) x 504 (H) mm. These dimensions allow the case to accommodate ATX,micro-ATX, and mini-ITX motherboards, all compliant with BTF standard. As for the other components, there’s 420 mm of clearance for the graphics card. The CPU cooler has 170 mm of vertical clearance, but the power supply is limited to 160 mm… This is due to its transverse placement at the bottom, toward the front of the chassis.
As for cooling, there are six mounting points for 120 mm fans: three at the top, two at the bottom, and one at the rear. The bottom fans have an unobstructed air intake thanks to the power supply being moved to the front. As for water cooling, support for 360 mm radiators is provided at the top.
A nice view:
If you like aquarium-style cases, this model is sure to catch your eye. Yes, a large side panel paired with a glass front panel and a left-side panel covering one-third of the other side offers a great view.
The control panel is located at the bottom front of the case and features two USB-A 3.0 ports and one USB-C 3.2 Gen2x2 port.
