G.SKILL has announced the arrival of new memory kits, but this time not with extravagant frequencies, but in 6000 MT/s with ultra-tight CL26 and CL28 timings. These new low-latency memory kits are intended for AMD Ryzen 9000 series processors and X870 motherboards. It therefore has an AMD EXPO profile. The new specifications include DDR5 6000 MT/s CL26 memory kits in 2 x 16GB, 2 x 32GB, 2 x 24GB and 2 x 48GB. You’ll be able to buy them in the series of your choice, as G.SKILL offers them in Trident Z5 Royal Neo, Trident Z5 Neo RGB, and Ripjaws M5 RGB Neo.
The screenshot below shows the CL26 6000 MT/s DDR5 kit, comprising two 32GB memory sticks, performing a stability test under Memtest. This new kit is installed on the ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Hero motherboard, equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 9900X processor.
G.SKILL has not yet given any information about availability or price. We should certainly know more from 5 January, the start date of CES 2025, where we will be present to bring you live coverage, in particular via our Discord.
