Back to Germany, and more precisely to MindFactory, a major local components retailer. Once again, TechEpiphany focuses on the merchant’s figures to draw some statistics. So, in this AMD vs NVIDIA vs Intel battle, who comes out on top?

AMD vs NVIDIA vs Intel, who sells more at MindFactory?

AMD vs NVIDIA vs Intel parts de marché MindFactory

At the German retailer, AMD is the company selling the most GPUs in week 31 2023 (July 31 to August 6). On closer inspection, AMD accounts for 51.56% of the retailer’s GPU sales, compared with 41.14% for NVIDIA. Intel came last, with just 0.3 sales, despite its well-positioned cards.

Paradoxically, despite an almost 50/50 split between AMD and NVIDIA, sales of the chameleon’s boards far outstripped those of the reds. Total sales of NVIDIA boards represented €1,233,956, compared with €881,790 for AMD. Intel is just a speck of dust: €2,480.

The three best-selling boards in the store were the RX 6700 XT (390 units), the RTX 4070 (360 sales) and the RTX 3060 (300 sales). At Intel, only ten Arc A750s were sold, while twice as many RX 580s, an AMD card released in 2017, were sold. Meanwhile, 10 was also the number of RTX 4060s sold that week, proving that the 4060 really isn’t popular. As for high-end cards, the 7900 XT and 7900 XTX accounted for 140 and 190 sales respectively. The RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 were at 150 and 240 respectively. This applies to all models combined.

Looking by model, MindFactory’s most popular boards are :

  • XFX RX 6700 XT Speedster SWFT 309
  • XFX RX 6950 XT Speedster MERC 319
  • MSI RTX 3060 Ventus 2X

Once again, these are just the figures for one merchant, since if we look at the market as a whole, AMD doesn’t sell nearly as many CGs.
