A new accessory from Corsair, with an in-house 12VHPWR adapter. This will enable cleaner cabling, with the connector simply passing over the graphics card. Unfortunately, some compatibility issues remain, particularly with Asus cards!
12VHPWR adapter: Corsair offers its own!
Corsair offers a basic adapter similar to what cablemod offers. In fact, this is a 180° model, or more vulgarly, a “U”.
As you can see, the aesthetic aspect is well taken care of, with the Corsair logo and the brand’s own triangular motifs. As you’d expect, there’s no RGB lighting here.
In terms of construction, it’s hard to say what we’re dealing with: plastic? Aluminum? However, the brand claims high thermal endurance, with a bridge capable of withstanding temperatures of up to 105°C. This means it can be used with any RTX 40 series card, led by the RTX 4090.
However, beware of your graphics card, as compatibility is not guaranteed for all models. Asus TUF and Strix series cards are not compatible.
As for the price, it’s hard to say what it will be, as Corsair doesn’t give any details.
