Presented at the CES 2023 the ROG Hyperion from Asus was announced as the next big case from the brand. At the time of the announcement, the selling price was still unknown, but the brand has remedied that with this announcement. Now we know that it will cost 420 € at the very least. In addition, there are some traces of it on Amazon at crazy prices.
ROG Hyperion, reminder for this 420 € case!
With this case, Asus offers a very large model that displays 268 (W) x 639 (D) x 659 (H) mm. Moreover, if you want to show your biceps on the beach this summer, this is also the one you need with its 20 kg on the scale.
Moreover, this allows it to be without restrictions on the component side. It can easily accommodate E-ATX motherboards. The same goes for GPUs, CPU fans and power supplies, with 460 mm, 190 mm and 240 mm of compatibility respectively.
It’s also a case that focuses on cooling performance since there are no less than 10 slots for fans in 120 mm… Seven in 140 mm. Of course, watercooling enthusiasts will be happy since there is a dual compatibility with 420 mm radiators simultaneously in the top and front.
Finally, with its case, the brand offers us a reference all option. In the package, we have X-shaped carrying handles. Similarly, for the graphics card, a GPU support is also part of the package, as well as the fan and RGB hub . The side panels are mounted on hinges which makes it easy to open the panels.
Otherwise, between the motherboard slot and the front, we have a modular space. We can install a ROG light panel, or SSDs, or three fan slots in 120 mm (360 mm radiator compatible) or a distroplate. Cabling is also made easy with Velcro strips and a depth of 34 mm. And finally, we even have a storage compartment that can hold tools, screws and even spare parts of the case … We are thinking of the PCIe brackets that have been removed, etc.
Of course, for the price, you’ll have to put your hand in the wallet and pay a nice sum of 419,90 € officially. This Hyperion is also available for pre-order on amazon’s marketplace at a crazy price of 618 €.
