After Palit and Asus we now move on to the RTX 4070 Ti from MSI. The brand launches three references belonging to its flagship series that are the Suprim, Gaming and Ventus ranges.
The Ventus 3X, the most compact of the three!
We start with the most compact version of the three, the Ventus 3X. The latter is 308 mm long and will occupy a good 2.5 slots in a PC case. However, we notice that the card is equipped with three fans and a perforated backplate.
Nevertheless, it is also a factory overclocked model with a boost reaching 2655 MHz. As a reminder, the reference card has a maximum of 2610 MHz. After that, we wouldn’t be surprised if a non-OC version comes on the market.
The RTX 4070 Ti Gaming X, intermediate model:
With this Gaming X version, we go upmarket. The card becomes more bulky as its dimensions increase to 337 mm in length for a thickness of three slots. The RGB appears on the shell and the radiator is also more worked. The openwork backplate is still present.
The overclocking frequencies have also improved and now reach 2745 MHz in boost. After that, it represents a slight gain of a little over 5% compared to the reference card.
The Suprim X, the most high-end!
Now we come to the top model with the Suprim X series. This model is the most imposing of the three with 338 mm in length and a little more than 3 slots thick. Be careful with your case. The design is still very neat and the backplate still looks very clean.
Finally, MSI does not hesitate to push its card to 2775 MHz in factory boost. We can reach 2790 MHz via MSI Center or even more if we wish.
And like all other cards, it has an auxiliary power supply via a 12VHPWR connector. The rest of the connectivity offers three DisplayPort 1.4a and an HDMI 2.1a.
It remains to be seen what the price will be…
