Roccat launches a new mouse model with the Kone XP Air. It is a new wireless mouse that comes with a charging station… With RGB. In short, here is a new Kone from Roccat!
Kone XP Air: a new Kone and wireless too !
With this new reference, we find a Kone rather classic in its form. Moreover, it includes the latest advances of the brand in terms of aesthetics. We think in particular of the RGB lighting called ” 3D ” that we already found on the Kone XP White. Overall, it is also a fairly large mouse with dimensions of 126 (W) x 72 (D) x 40 (H) mm and a weight of 99g. With this, we will find many buttons: two above the left click, four on the side and a last one, under the thumb, for the EasyShift to double the functions (up to 29 possible). The scroll wheel is a 4D type with up/down and right/left side scrolling. In short, there is plenty to do. Internally, the brand opts for Titan optical switches for better responsiveness. At the level of the sensor, we find the famous Owl-Eye displaying a sensitivity of 19000 PPP. The polling rate is 1000 Hz and we have an internal memory for saving different profiles. Finally, Roccat announces a battery offering an autonomy of up to 100 hours. For charging, we have the right to a fast charging station with RGB lighting distributed over 4 areas. Finally, this model is equipped with a PTFE pad for a better glide and an ultra flexible USB cord! We finish with the thing that makes you angry: the price that is clearly not given. Here, you will have to count ~170 € the mouse… Ouch!
