As we told you, the closer we get to the start of CES 2025, the more leaks there are likely to be. In fact, we’ll be there to bring you the latest announcements from the various manufacturers. Here, two well-known leakers from the X network are announcing a TDP of 575 watts for the RTX 5090 model, compared with 450 watts for the RTX 4090.
Meanwhile, Kopite has announced a TDP of 360 watts for the RTX 5080. Of course, it’s very difficult to say whether this information is accurate, although we suspect that based on the technical specifications of the RTX 5090, we should indeed see an increase in TDP.
NVIDIA’s next top-of-the-range model will be equipped with a GB-202 chip, featuring 21,760 CUDA cores and a surface area of 744 mm². It will also be equipped with 32 GB of GDDR7 memory with a 512-bit interface. In our test of the RTX 4090, we were impressed by the card’s ‘monstrous’ performance, but perhaps we haven’t seen anything yet with the RTX 5090! Just a little more patience.
