The LG brand announces the arrival of a new monitor, the 34BP65C. With this new reference, the brand offers a 21:9 format screen with a very responsive VA panel. Indeed, it displays a frequency of 160 Hz, what to play smoothly!

LG 34BP65CWith this new monitor, the brand announces a reference called “ultra wide” with its 21:9 format. Behind that, you will have understood, we find a UWQHD resolution in 3440 x 1440. The slab offers an important diagonal: 34″ while being curved at 1800R.

Otherwise, this is a very responsive VA panel since it displays a frequency of 160 Hz. However, the latency is a bit behind other models with its 5 ms GtG. In addition, we have Adaptive-Sync compatibility over a range of 48 Hz to 160 Hz.

Regarding the display, this model offers a brightness of 300 nits and an interesting contrast ratio at 3000:1. Otherwise, this is a 10-bit model (8 bits + FRC) covering 99% of the SRGB range. Finally, the data sheet mentions the support of HDR10.

In terms of connectivity, nothing very exciting with the presence of two HDMI 2.0 inputs with HDCP 2.2. We will also have the right to DisplayPort 2.2 and a headphone output. Note two 7W speakers are integrated into this monitor as well as an adjustable stand and a Vesa 100 x 100 mount.

The pricing is $519.00 on the brand’s website, a rather soft price considering the format and the frequency.
