Z690 Godlike: MSI’s motherboard finally shows itself!

The Z690 Godlike from MSI is back in the news. This time, the card is fully visible and we will not be satisfied with its PCB. In short, there is a lot to say, especially about the large display integrated next to the memory slots.

Z690 Godlike: the entire PCB is hidden!

MSI MEG Z690 GodlikeAs we already told you last time, this card is a real behemoth. As a reminder, it has dimensions of 30.5 cm x 31 cm, hence its square appearance. In addition, there are many power supply stages for the CPU with 22 phases and a duo of EPS12V with eight pins.

From a design point of view, the motherboard is completely enclosed, as if the aim was to hide every visible part of the PCB. Even the memory is covered with a cover like a Z690 Aorus Xtreme by the way.

Otherwise, the RGB is really present: on the I/O cache, the M.2 heatsinks and chipset and memory cache. However, we will not miss the huge display positioned next to the DIMM slots. Obviously, we can expect an OLED panel to display system information: temperatures, frequencies, etc.

In short, all that remains is to wait for the official announcement of the card from MSI. Once again, for the price, we should not expect a “cheap” model, its role being to compete with the Maximus Z690 Glacial and ASRock Z690 Aqua OC.
