At ViewSonic, we can count on a major novelty since the brand announces its Elite XG251G screen. A 24″ screen with an ultra responsive IPS panel. Indeed, the latter offers a refresh rate of 360 Hz!
XG251G: a ViewSonic screen with a fast IPS panel in 360 Hz!
With this new model, the brand offers a screen with relatively standard dimensions. Indeed, it lands with a diagonal of 24″, nothing extraordinary here. However, what is a little more, it is its IPS type panel displaying a high refresh rate: 360 Hz! Finally, the response time is 1 ms and it is NVIDIA G-Sync and NVIDIA Reflex compatible.
The rest of the characteristics is rather classic since the contrast ratio is 1000:1 and the brightness displays 400 cd/m². Regarding colorimetry, ViewSonic announces a coverage of 99% of the sRGB spectrum. Finally, you should know that it also benefits from a DisplayHDR 400 certification.
In terms of connectivity, this model has two HDMI 2.0 ports with HDCP 2.2 in addition to a DisplayPort. Of course, we are also entitled to the essential USB hub with three 3.2 type A ports.
Regarding the price, it is difficult to say how much it costs, however, the few traces found on the web position it between 900 € and 1000 €. Finally, the only criticism: its 1080p resolution. Let’s say that it is intended for people who are only looking for reactivity!
