Western Digital announces a new range of SSDs with its WD_Black SN770 models. It is a range of four references with capacities ranging from 250 GB to 2 TB, all in M.2 format!
WD_Black SN770: four SSD without DRAM cache!
With these new SSDs, the brand announces the arrival of four new products. These have capacities of 250 GB, 500 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB. With this, we have the right to SSD in M.2 2280 format with a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface. Inside, it is difficult to say what we have, however, we know that there is no DRAM cache.
As for the performances, Western Digital announces sequential read/write speeds of 5150 MB/s and 4900 MB/s maximum. Of course, depending on the capacity, these values will vary. As for random performance, we have 740k IOPS for reading and 800k IOPS for writing. Again, at maximum.
We end briefly with prices ranging from $59.99 for the 250GB to $269.99 for the 2TB. Finally, the 500GB and 1TB versions are priced at $79.99 and $129.99 respectively on the brand’s website.
