The Lian Li brand announces new fans with its UNI FAN TL LCD. These, as the name suggests, feature an LCD screen above the central hub… Things are definitely going too far…
UNI FAN TL LCD: even more screens in your PC!
Lian Li’s new fans are available in 120 and 140 mm sizes. You can choose between “normal” and inverted blades, depending on the mounting location.
In its LCD version and in 120 mm, the fans will run from 350 rpm to 1900 rpm. At full speed, airflow will reach 62 CFM, while static pressure will rise to 2.9 mmH2O. At 140 mm, the fan will be slower, with a maximum speed of 1600 rpm. However, both airflow and static pressure will improve: 68.1 CFM and 3.5 mmH2O.
In reverse now, speeds are identical to those of “normal” models. However, a slight drop in airflow and pressure is noticeable:
- 120 mm:
- Air flow: 54.3 CFM
- Static pressure: 2.83 mmH2O
- 140 mm :
- Air flow: 64 CFM
- Static pressure: 3.1 mmH2O
Naturally, these fans feature RGB lighting via edgings in the frame. An infinite depth effect is also present on the edges, as is the LCD screen mounted on the central hub. Via in-house software, you can customize all this by displaying your system info or a .gif, .jpg, .png or .mp4 file.
In short, between theAIO, the motherboard, the graphics card and now the fans, that’s a lot of screens!
Of course, prices aren’t going to be cheap, as you’ll need to reckon with €46.90/fan in 120 mm vs. €51.90 in 140 mm. A pack of three will set you back €150 in 120 mm, but no pack of three in 140 mm for the moment.
